I have to applaud the organisers of the 2010 Can't Stop The Serenity.  The venue was the right size and it was so much fun to watch Dr Horrible as well as Serenity.  I even won a door prize :D

I am majorly bummed that Armageddon Expo are again giving Sydney the cold shoulder this year.   For some reason that is toooooooooo wonderful to ignore, but not so wonderful that they can tell anyone about it, Sydney's first 'geddon has been moved to Melbourne.  And they still get to keep their November Expo.

Saturday was my sewing guild group, which was the expected amount of fun - huge - for me.  I spent 95% of my time doing all the machine sewing for my new viking apron dress, ie all but the shoulder straps.  The remainder was putting gussets into the under dress sleeves. The day was a shocker of a start, because i had forgotten that I had an appointment for a haircut at 8am on Saturday.
